I am using PayPal to send money to friends for various purposes and they are reporting PayPal is charging them a fee on their end. My method is to first put the funds from my US bank account into my PayPal account and THEN send the money to my friends. All parties are US based.
Is there a reason they are being charged fees? That doesn't make sense to me and it also says to me PayPal is a bad way to send money.
I have had the same problem. I was being paid via PayPal for a consulting assignment.
The client paid and each time there were different charges. The client did not tell me until the end of the contract with their final payment......they deducted ALL the fees from my final check.
