Keeping my email anonymous

Hi everyone,

I write a blog anonymously and I want to put a Donate button on said blog.  When one clicks the donate button the next page shows my email address that's synched with the PayPal account.  Is there any way I can make it so they can't see my email address?

You can upgrade your account a Business account by visting https://www.paypal.com/upgrade

You'll likely want to use 'Individual' as the business type.

Note:  No recurring charges are associated with having a Business account.

When receiving payments via PayPal, your donors will always see the email address to which the payments are being sent.  If you are concerned about them knowing your personal email address, we have options available for all account types - not just Business.  Every account can have more than one email address on file.  Simply create the button to route to a different, confirmed email address on your account.  For example, when I sign up at websites that I expect a great deal of spam from, I use a different email address than what I engage for my personal emails and notifications.  While your donation notifications may then also wind up going to this email address, you will then at least have the peace of mind that your personal email address isn't readily available.

Can you have a button that a particular money transfer should remain anonymous.

that would be great in addition to this extra email.
