Hi everyone, I just wanted to warn others and ask paypal if I have any hope of them reversing all payments I've made to this site.
I've just spent around £300 bidding against what I thought was other people only to learn after scanning the internet that it's actually bots. In other words, I was never going to win and by the sounds of it, I would never have received my items even if I did.
I feel so bloody stupid, but in my defence I use madbid with great success all the time. So expected the same level of honesty from them. That and the fact that they are at the top of google search and the fact that Paypal are still working with them, all signs were good!
So yes, two things really.
1: STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!
2: What hope have I got for reversing the payments I have made to them. Seeing as I have nothing to show for my money, surely I have a chance right?
I fully understand how penny auctions work, but I was never ever going to win.
Please guys, don't bid there. I promise you will come away with a nasty taste in your mouth.
PayPal, stop supporting them with your service! Google "wellbid scam" wellbid review"
