Problem with an Ebay purchase - seller wont respond to contact

Bought an exercise bike in Aug, which was faulty, emailed seller and got no response.  I entered neutral feedback after 6 weeks and suddenly got a call from seller.  He sent me a new computer for bike, which didnt work!  He asked me to change feedback and said that he would send a new computer and a £25 refund for my inconvenience, but wanted me to change feedback as he would lose his ebay discount. I would rather  have waited  till I got replacement but he called me constantly asking when I would do it, and said I wasnt very trusting if I wouldnt do it that day as there was a deadline for him to get his score up to obtain discounts.  So I stupidly did change the feedback and this was 10 days ago and havent heard from him since, neither have I got a new computer or a refund.  Ebay say as it is over 45 days I cant open a case and they cant help me.  Not sure what to do next...

Well nothing as far as ebay and paypal are concerned.

 

I wonder why instead of doing nothing you did not file for item received but not as described via the resolution tab in your paypal account within the 45 days you have to file a dispute.

 

Once i have left feedback no coercion on the part of the seller gets me to change it.

 

 if you funded your paypal payment with a card contact your card issuer and see if they will chargeback for you.
