To begin, (For those who doesn't know the story) I won an auction on eBay. The seller, which has no reputation at all, told me that he didn't accept Paypal. Well, stupid as I can be, I transferred him the money trough e-Transfer. Everything went okay. We text-ed a lot and it kinda convinced me. Later, I received this letter:
----------------------------------

------------------------------------------------
This was sent by a Bell Mailroom (bamailrm1091nb at bellaliant dot net)
At first I was convinced. But what I found strange was the spelling mistakes (Disc.nt , CowansvillE , MAR 29 1931)
It said that it was a beta project so I didn't mind to much about that. The next thing that captivate my attention was the fact that he didn't give me the tracking number. I sent an email to Canpar, and they say that they can't track it with the arrival postal code. The last thing, the package was sent from Surrey BC, and is supposed to ship to QC in Canada. Why would it be scanned in GANDER, NL?
I tried many times to contact him this week. Most of times he answers late but this time I got no answer. Do you think this kind of shipping email can be faked? Even if it really looks to come from a mailroom?
I know I made a huge mistake. But I'm really desperate.
After a research, I found out that the seller's cell phone number is located in NL too. (He lives in BC...)
Thanks for your help!
