Temporary hold?

A couple of days ago, I had my money refunded for a purchase the day after I made it because the item I was trying to buy was stolen before they could ship it. The email I got said that the money would be refunded into my Paypal account, but it hasn't been. Instead, it seems to be on "temporary hold".  Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Where are you seeing this "temporary hold"?

If it's in your Paypal account, you can relax - paypal's just waiting for the money you sent to clear before they allow the refund.

I had a temporary hold on November 24 because the item i bought was damaged. The hold has been lifted. But the money has not been moved. it has not been added to my PayPay account or to my checking account.... What is the deal????
