Temporary hold on my personal transaction

I was sending money to a friend of mine and I made a stupid mistake by misspelling his email address ( the problem is something like spelling mrpotato@yaho.com instead of mrpotato@yahoo.com; noticed the difference?). I've immediately canceled the transaction and was surprised to see that the money is currently on hold.
Since it's my first time sending money and the amount is quite huge, I'm now at loss on what to do since its not a business transaction.
How long should I even wait before the money is being returned to me?

This may be an easy fix.
There cannot BE any email addresses for yaho, so the money may be "unclaimed" in your account.
Look at the transaction line on the main account page. If it says, "Unclaimed", there should be a "cancel" button in the same line. Press that.
It may take a few days for the money to be returned or it may happen instantly.
