Hi, someone is purchasing an item I advertised on Craigslist, and she wants to pay me via PayPal. I am not a current PayPal user. What are the benefits of using PayPal? Will PayPal send me a check?

I would NOT recommend this. This is typically of a scammer as you will not have any protection since you will be unable to provide tracking information to PP. I would accept cash only with any craigslist item.

I agree, I sold an airline ticket to some from craigslist, he has used it,but filed an unauthorized claim against me, so now my money is on hold for 7 days. I don't recommend papal for craigslist. Cash only
Good luck
