Item Not Received, Need Help.

I recently bought an item and sent the payment through paypal on the 27th.  I received the shipping information on the 30th, however it has never been updated and says that the shipping company (USPS) is waiting for the item from the seller.  I tried to contact the seller but received no response.  I filed a claim however, the status now says something like "the tracking number indicated that the item is still in transit, when the item arrives we will make a decision..." My reason behind filing the claim is that I didn't recieve the item, and dont believe I will.  The tracking info has said the same thing since I received it.  Any help is appreciated.

Do you mind posting whom the seller is, this story sounds very familiar to what happened to me.

It was not an Ebay member, if thats where it happened to you.  It was another member on a golf forum I'm on.  However, He finally did reply to my email, and said that the item was shipped on the 2nd and parcel post should have it  here soon.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Glad to hear the seller finally responded to you.

Parcel Post and Media Mail (aka package services) are a second rate USPS service which means the packages shipped via these means are ONLY moved when there is space to allow it.  This time of year there is not much extra space on any truck therefor if he did ship it parcel post it could still be another 2-3 weeks out.  If I were in your position and the golf clubs are not in by the end of January I would go ahead and file a dispute.  The longest I have waiting (this time of year) for a parcel post package was 45-50 days.
