Chargeback issued, buyer doesn't contact me at all, CC ruled in his favor

What a load of bull. A buyer of mine never contacted me with any issues, and suddenly Paypal tells me a month or two ago that his credit card company issued a chargeback for "unauthorized payment." And of course, since I didn't get a tracking number or proof of shipment on the item, I can't win! They just ruled against Paypal/me once again. What a ripoff. So much for selling on eBay via Paypal again.

Me as well -

I closed my checking account yesterday as there is no way in **bleep** Paypal is going to get any money from me. I am in the middle of a chargeback as I type. I put my item up on Ebay with local pick-up only. Guy  asked if he could buy it early and of course come pick it up from my home, I said sure. Here came on Aug 14th, bought the amp and I had to log him into my modem via his laptop so he could access Paypal to pay me which he did and Paypal has record of this so they say. Pays and leaves, now last Thursday I get notice from Paypal about the chargeback which he claims is unauthorized. I deleted the little email conversation, did not have him sign anything and of course ended the auction early so really no Ebay support. Stupid on my part. I do have my cell bill which shows I talked to him on Aug 9 for 46 minutes, the end of the auction, his payment and my withdraw all falls within about an hour, and paypal has some type of proof he used my internet to access paypal for payment. I have emailed him with no reply, called him and basically got hung up on. Talked to the local police and they said it sounded like a civil issue/case. I think I will lose this from what other people have posted but I will dispute the collections and fight this all the way. Total bull**bleep**!!!!

If only I had known the whole tracking number issue, I'd get tracking numbers for anything I ship out. However, this guy never contacted me with any issues, so I didn't know anything was wrong. I probably got scammed, and am out another $20 thanks to the dispute fee from his CC.
