So is there anyway I can dispute the fact that PayPal closed a refund dispute because I never got an email back from PayPal giving me the date they were going to close out.  I've waited patiently for the seller to reply and they haven't and now PayPal says sorry case has been closed because I didn't escalate it.  I didn't get an email saying it had to be escalated.  I've been patient with both PayPal and this seller and now looks like I'm just out my $65.22.  Is there no way to open a case back up???

You have up to 20 days to escalate a dispute to a claim, if you don't do so then sadly you lose out as it auto-closes.
