Unauthorised transaction scam

Guys I really need your help. I bought some new shoes and posted on snap chat someone messaged me saying they wanted to buy it of me and I thought ok fine since it was kind of an impulse buy and I had eye on another pair. We messaged and agreed on the price £100 I sent it of in the morning and after informing him that it was sent of the buyer has now opened an unauthorised transaction case. The problem is that I didn't record the tracking number or am even sure if I got one (I don't send stuff through the internet often). I don't know what to do and my account has been put in minus and some of my money is on hold. What can I do? Please help.

An unauthorised transaction means that an account holders Paypal account was hacked and used without their consent by your ?buyer.
If Paypal check IP addresses etc and find in favour of the account holder then of course they are reimbursed.

However you would not lose out either as long as you met ALL the requirements of seller protection, so your best bet is to go and read up on it to make sure you were covered.
