UK partnership with no company registration number

We are a UK non limited Partnership business therefore we do not have a company registration number, but PayPal is insisting on one. Please help

I also have had our partnership account limited due to this idiotic and obvious error in paypal's process.
A Partnership by default has no company number so please PayPal change your systems process to reflect this.
It makes you look really stupid!
