So basically I was trying to buy a product on FB marketplace. I had sent the money to the seller on messenger and that was the last of it. I tried to contact paypal but they said I used the family and friends method and I can’t get a refund. Can I have help
Same here. The seller, Jake <removed>from Phoenixville, PA, who got my $190, for the time being, sold me an iPhone 8 Plus. That was for my Mom to use. That heightens the anger level a bit. I reported the ad, filed a complaint with the FTC, and since I work at a law firm, I will see what they can do. Feels better for having done something.
