Scammed and there is no history of payment on paypal

I purchased a gift card almost a year ago and wasn’t able to use it until recently. When I did, there was zero balance. I went back to eBay purchase history and the purchase is there but it is faded and I cannot click on it. Other purchases made before this can still be selected, so time is not the issue. Then logged into PayPal and there is no history of this purchase on PayPal. I know I paid. Is it too late to create a dispute and why is it not showing in PayPal? New to this. Thanks

Thank you for posting on the PayPal Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with something you ordered. While disputes can be filed, they must be done within 180 days of when the purchase was made. As for the record of the purchase, any payments made by logging in to the PayPal account should show the information in your Activity section, but if a guest checkout was used without logging in, then it will not be seen on the account.

At this point, your best bet may be to contact the seller directly. If you cannot access the information via the eBay website, eBay customer support may be able to provide more information.
