Scamed by a fake website

Hi, I just made a purchase on a fake website called facemasksupply.com

I used paypal and entered all the credit card info, the website said the payment is successful without sending me any confirmation message or email. Also, checking order details and tracking it is not available on that fake website. 

The payment is currently pending on paypal. My concerns are: 1) Can paypal stop the transctaion and give me money back? 2) Will my credit card details be released and cause further loss? How can I secure my bank?

This website is confirmed as a scam by following websites, people already shared the information, however paypal still allows payment from such website??

You chose to pay via PayPal but gave your credit card details as well?  PayPal is used to avoid giving out your credit card details. If it’s pending, can’t you cancel the payment?

Basically this is how some non automated shopping software works.

you order the items, authorize paypal payment and this is then registered in the shopping site database.

AS far as PP is concerned you authorized payment.

The shopping site operator then comes in and   confirms the payment or rolls it back... the "pending" can sit around for months.

If you gave you gave your credit card details to what you consider a scam site, you really should ask the bank to re-issue the card

becasue the site has the card, the  cvv2 AND you full name & address....

so in theory they could do some real damage.

As i said get the card re-issued with a new CVV2, to cut off that avenue BEFORE they authorize the payment.

It will protect the card.. the Paypal you have to deal with as a separate issue..
