I was interested in doing the Great Wall of China Autumn Race in 2018 but due to work commitments I was unable to attend. I then contacted the race officials/company I booked on and they said it was ok to come in 2019. They would keep my funds and I would just need to contact them in 2019. This was for the race and accommodation. I have all the documentation they provided etc. Till today after two attempts of emailing them again no response and I feel I have been scammed. Is there any way to get my funds back ($1169.96).
They had official PayPal branding and it also required I login to my PayPal account to complete payment.

I have all the paper trails and proof of payments please let me know if there is any way or how I can go about reversing the payment.
