A friend recently got scammed, someone sent him a text that his debit card would expire if he didn't take the steps described. What he didn't know is that he was actually authorizing a top up of €1200 for a PayPal account named PayPal pte. Ltd 038985 - Singapore - SGP 2KPZE9U PayPal TopUp We already contacted the bank but they couldn't give us any assurances (we live in Belgium btw). Is there any way to get his money back?
