I was sold a gaming digital service over a discord server. I paid $60 to the seller's specified PayPal address through 'friends & family' as instructed. Fast forward 24 hours and I have not received the service at the specified time, I've been removed from the discord server and I'm being ignored by the seller. The seller is not responding to my emails either.
I created a ticket through the resolution center to get a refund, but it seems that the automated system kicked it back as denied since the payment was 'authorized.' This was 100% a scam and I would like to know how PayPal can 1) reverse the transaction and 2) Ban this seller's account for fraudulent activity.
