I filed a dispute with pay pal on a purchase which was paid to a different name than the company I bought two guitars from under unauthorized payment and the case was closed in 12 hours. I still have not received the product and now cannot file another dispute for no product received because they say ( you have already filed a dispute. No help from pay pal. Just WOW!!

You don’t file an unauthorized transaction claim if you actually sent the payment yourself, even if it was to a scammer. Unauthorized is primarily for transactions made without your knowledge at all. Contact PayPal to request a change of your closed dispute to Item Not Received (reference the case ID number):
- Go to: https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/contact-us
- Click Disputes and account limitations
- Click Disputes
- Click Dispute a payment
- Click Message Us after the “This information might help”
