Returning an item to China at my cost

I’ve got a dispute open for an item not as discribed , I paid 35 dollars for it and PayPal says in order to receive a full refund I must return the item at my cost , I’ve just been to the post office and it’s gonna cost me £15 to return which is disgraceful , I’ve tried contacting PayPal but it’s so hard to get a response can anyone help please where I stand in refusing to return the item but still get a full refund

I have the same issue. Only mine is with BooHoo and I have to return the items which they wrongly sent all the way from Singapore to Manchester, UK. Shipping is $180+ at the cheapest.. My items cost less than that! I cant get through Paypal by phone contact - their automated messages say they'll transfer me to an agent, only to be told that due to covid, their contact centre is closed. LOL! And they dont respond to the chat as well. I really dont know what to do!

I’ve tried finding a number to contact PayPal aswell with no luck , it’s ridiculous no help at all and can’t get past the send proof of postage bit on my claim to even speak to anyone

Likewise! What I did was send a snapshot pic of the shipping cost and in the details, I told them its ridiculous for you to expect me to pay for shipping! Just read another thread, seems like paypal are not willing to budge 😞

There are hundreds of threads on here of people complaining about Chinese companies ripping people off yet PayPal is doing nothing , it’s a joke , I’ve had another one today now aswell that was meant to be a stainless steel kitchen bin and when it’s come it’s a small plastic bowl , and I don’t have a clue what to do because PayPal are useless , my claim is gonna get closed cos I’m not returning the item at my expense

Cost me 46 dollar. I send them the tracking number and they still denied my claim. Now i am out of a 152 dollar. They are helping the ccp rip us off.
