I bought a speaker and paid via paypal. They sent the speaker and it didnt work, despite saying it was in good condition and worked fine. I sent it back and they said they would refund me, they haven't. However  now they've blocked me and i cant contact them. Ive opened a dispute on paypal but it says declined as i have unauthorised access. Any ideas on how i can get my  money back? As now

Does your payment status say "Money Sent" instead of "Payment Sent" on the transaction??

 

If so, then you may have paid as friends and family and there is no refund or purchase protection for such payments as it is considered a gift payment. Which could be why the seller disappeared and blocked communication to you as there is no incentive to refund such payments,

 

The fact that your dispute was declined either due to:

 

1) there being no other option but to file an unauthorized payment dispute is an indication that you may have paid as friends and family

 

Or,

 

2) you filed the wrong type of dispute because you did indeed send payment but you really needed to file a Significantly Not As Described dispute instead.

 

If you filed a wrong type of dispute, contact customer service to request a change the dispute to Significantly Not As Described (SNAD) dispute.
