You never close a dispute until a refund is issued when the dispute will close automatically.

You can open a paypal dispute BUT to get a refund you may to send the item back trackable to prove delivery to the seller first if paypal find in your favour.

So open a dispute > put in all the info > then WAIT for paypal to review it and tell you what to do.

I bought a Yankee candle bunnycake when it arrived it was smashed didn't even say fragile on the box so I got in touch with the seller and eBay asked for a refund for the Yankee candle. I sent photos and myself and the seller agreed to a refund she accepted and said keep it or chuck the candle away. I closed the case on eBay thinking it was ok for me to do so as ive never had to ask for a refund now ive been told that i might not get it at all. The seller said that she didn't receive the money straight away but I looked into it and can see that she has she isn't replying to any of my message's now and I'm at a loss for what to do or where I stand. Can anyone help me please? Thanks Kerry
