I signed up to paypal like 2 years ago and I used a fake date of birth because i wasn’t (and still aren’t) 18 years old. Now paypal have restricted my account access and asked me to confirm my identity (date of birth) in accordance to their Equifax records (which will turn out to be different if i continue with the false DOB) and my real DOB is too young so it says error and doesn’t let me continue. So what are my options in resolving this (confirming my real age and deleting my account) without losing my money??

Paypal does not allow account holders under the age of 18.
PayPal asks for a birth date when you register so whilst you can make a PayPal account with false information the account will need to be verified to accept funds into your balance or lift any limits.
As you would be unable to verify your account it would be locked for further use.
Minors can’t enter legal contracts so you may not have any recourse to get your money back until you were 18, unless you contact them and request funds being sent to a parents Paypal account, not guaranteed however.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

@kernowlass When i created my account i wasnt required to verify my details so that’s why i was able to use it underage. So they must have introduced the verification thing recently. Anyways thankyou for the solution and I will take your advice to contact them.
