I tried to order something from nike's online store and it seems to pre authorize the payment before completing the transaction. What the site didn't tell me was that the items that I was attempting to order were no longer in stock, until after pre authorization had completed. So i removed some of the items (because they don't tell you which are actually out of stock for some reason) and it failed again.
Now I have 2 pending transactions with no ability to cancel and the message, "This is a temporary authorization to make sure your payment method will cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when Nike Retail BV completes your order.", however the money for both transactions have been taken from my bank account.
These orders were never completed with Nike so I have no order number to go to nike with and the resolution centre refuses to allow me to open a case for these transaction types. Seems that they will automatically cancel if unclaimed in 30 days but will paypal refund the funds taken at that time?
