My payment was declined when I was sending money to a friend. I added another credit card and sent the $18 again. PayPal charged me $36 to send my friend $18. Why is this? Shouldn’t $18 be refunded?
It sounds like you sent the payment twice. if you see 2x payments for $18 on your statements then this is what happened and you should ask your friend to return one of them.
