Payment cancelled unfairly

I received an email from PayPal on Monday 27/05/2019 stating that I have received payment for work which was done for a Rev company. When I opened up my account, PayPal stated that there was no recent activity to view.

 

It seemed like my account might have been hacked as I immediately then received an email saying that Rev cancelled 2 weeks of payment (for which they had no reason to). I have already reported this to Rev to investigate.

 

Has anyone else had this experience?  Please assist. TIA
