PAYPAL SUPPORTING FRAUD SELL/NO REFUND

I purchased a product on April 21, 2020. Today is June 4, and no product. I fiIled a claim with Paypal for refund. Paypal agreed in favor of seller. I can't reach seller for product or refund, and Paypal is of no assistance. I keep getting automated responses, which give me useless information that prevents me from contacting Paypal and seller. I sent Paypal seller email promising refund many time, it it is ignored by Paypal. I feel I've been frauded by Paypal and seller. How does a buyer get a refund or a non automated Paypal response, a live person?

I’m currently going through the same issue with PayPal. It’s very upsetting when I thought PayPal were the “good guys” now I see there just as much crooks as the sellers are!!! I’m so upset at the way PayPal is handling or lack of handling disputes!! It makes it more frustrating that you never get to talk to someone about your concerns. I feel you anger!

I will limit my use of Paypal and advise my clients not to use Paypal.

I have also recently fallen victim to the same scam. Attempting to buy a pair of shoes via Google Shopping from the website cozxs.com £144 was taken as payment from my PayPal account and I received no communication from the alleged merchant.

I received no recourse or resolution or even contact from PayPal. In reading through the community forums here this scam is rife and widespread.

I have made a more extensive post detailing the scam HERE.

I hope that helps, but there are enough people who have recently fallen victim to this scam (Class Action comes to mind). Take note PayPal you have a lot of frustrated users! And you are helping scammers defraud long time users of your service. For well over a decade if not approaching two decades, I have been a user of your service with percentages of transactions ticking over into your coffers, and have always transacted in the knowledge that I would be rigorously protected by your Buyer Protection terms and conditions, for now it seems to be not worth the (non-existent digital) paper it's written on.
