Good day. I bought an item last year. My last payment on the item was in November 2017. The item was $1050 but the seller insured it for $1500. When the item arrived in my country the custom fees was $1000 because they went on the amount it was insured for and not $600 like I expected. I did not have $400 to add to the $600 for custom fees and our state decided that I lost my parcel. Fedex said the seller must contact her own Fedex in the US. The seller is very unproffesional and is not admitting guilt by overinsuring the item. (the reason i do not know). She promised a new item if i paid $100 plus another $100 for shipping but now she is not living up to the promise. I paid the one $100 last month. What are my chances of getting my money back ($1050 plus my $100) or is it a lost case? Please help.
