Missing Refund

Hi,

Can someone help me please. I purchased an Item on eBay on the 01st June, and after purchasing I received a message from eBay to say that the site I bought my item from was compromised by a 3rd Party and I should cancel the payment.

I did as I was told and cancelled the payment, this shows on my PayPay activity, but my PayPal activity also now shows a refund Pending. Can someone please tell me how long it takes for the money to be refunded to me?

When you cancel a payment those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will then either return them to your funding source (if you paid with a debit or credit card), or credit your paypal balance (if it was funded from your balance or instant bank transfer), but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.
