Item returned case on PayPal may decide in seller's favour

Hi I returned item but seller at first agreed to refund but didn't refund. I opened PayPal case and this got their back up. The seller said they didn't have to refund as their original policy was no returns but they did say they would. The seller may win on these technicalities and they didn't accept the return request on the system. They messaged me saying they would refund upon receipt of the item. The seller is going to end up with the item and my money. I'm so upset as I returned the item. Also PayPal said they would take back my return shipping refund depending on the outcome of the case. I will lose the fifteen pounds for the item and another £8.95. I'm so upset and don't know what to do

Did you win a dispute for item received but not as described?

Did you send the item back trackable and give paypal the tracking number that proves delivery of the item back to the seller?
