International package not updating tracking?

I shipped out a package on December 5 to Poland from California. I got a message today (January 22) telling me they never received their package. Oddly enough, the package never even made it to Poland according to the tracking; the last location it was scanned was Germany on January 3. I’m not sure what to do. Should I resend a new package and hope this one gets to them? Wait? Try finding Germany post to see if they have the tracking somewhere in their system? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They may want another item or a refund.

I would wait at least 30 days from sending before considering it lost and then your postal service may accept a claim from you for a refund.
