I escalated a dispute to a claim and the Seller was given upto 5 july, 2018 to respond. Today is 7 July with no response from seller, but my case is still open and resolution center shows "awaiting other party's response". What is the next step? i would like to know.

You can either wait it out or contact customer services for an update.
