I was scammed, what do I do?

On Wednesday, June 3rd at 8:10 PM I received an email from service with a personal and merchant transaction ID attached for a purchase. This was a payment to Dinh <removed> for an item off of a website I should have looked further into before making a purchase from. I am unsure why this transaction is not showing in my transaction history, as I used this specific invoice to create my account here, because I normally just use my Visa debit card to make transactions and the website asked me to enter that information into PayPal for a one time purchase. My bank is telling me the only way to resolve the scam and get a refund is to completely cancel my card and get a new one, so I'm hoping I can resolve the issue here first. The website is called skaramall.com, and I have already reported them to the FTC. The amount was $109.99, and I want to see if I can get my money back from here because I am never going to get the item I purchased before having to cancel my card and re-enter it into all of my saved websites, re-order a designed card, re-memorize the CVV, etc. Any help?

This exact same thing happened to me with Skara Mall and PayPal isn't willing to do anything about it. So frustrating!

I was scammed by Skaramall, all PayPal has to do is contact UPS to realize the tracking # belong to a false item and dropped off at a different address. They denied my dispute, but I will continue to fight for my refund.

Same here $95- I will be refusing delivery if it ever comes and reported it to my credit card company as fraud. The phone numbers and emails are all invalid. Complete scam! Blame myself too- should have done more research but still with this many complaints PayPal should stop working with them!

I filed a report with the FBI, the local police, PayPal, my credit card company, and UPS.

I placed my "order" with Skaramall on 5/29 - found the product through a Google Ad (I need to report them to Google, too). Received "tracking" information on Monday night (6/8). And of course it said the package was delivered on 6/4. Used a fake tracking number that just today updated to where the real tracking number package (weighing 1.5 lbs, and what I ordered weighed 50 lbs) went. So hopefully PayPal and/or my bank will acknowledge the actual recipient address as not being mine and give me back my $99.99.

If you haven't already, report this jerk to the FTC/FBI. Wire fraud is a felony. https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

So...we can also cost this scammer some money - by clicking on the Google shopping ads, over and over...

So using this search: Keter Store-It-Out MAX Outdoor Resin Horizontal Storage Shed - an ad for the product sold by Skaramall should pop up. Click on it, a lot. This scammer has to pay each time we click on one of his/her ads.

I'm honestly astonished at how many people have had this issue so I feel like I should give more information on my experience. I got my stuff refunded, signed an affidavit with the bank so they're investigating them as well. Which means according to one of the replies here they've got at least 5 different organizations looking into them. The issue is, this company is likely a foreign shell company that takes our money and turns it into crypto currency using a fake IP address, so the best we can likely do is have them shut down, the money is probably gone. However, if anyone needs more confirmation that they're fake, go ahead and click on their "Contact Us" button on their website. Their invalid email, disconnected phone line, and address are listed there. Which will help investigations. The text on this page reads "If you are facing a problem with products or checkout, shipping or return while shopping at our store, please, don’t leave a bad review or being mad. Firstly, visit our support page and try to find a solution. Or you can contact us and we will help you as soon as possible. You can ask your any kind of technical question directly through the contact email here. We would be glad if you help us to improve our services, order process or delivery. Thanks for buying our products!", which is obviously not coming from someone who natively speaks English, so I looked into the name of the person who "sold" me the product on Google translate and it's Viatnamese. Also, if you Google maps their address it's a hotel on the side of the road. Just figured this info might help more people report them to the FTC for fraud.
