I need some advice on my non-profit account

Hi,

I am a Canadian resident as in I am a student with a Canadian bank account (had it for 5 years, and rent). I went back to my home country for a few months and I got involved with a dog rescue. I save tortured and abused dogs. It was not supposed to be a big thing, as I am only 21 and I did not believe I could last long or make progress, but I did. I started getting many donations for the rescued dogs all over the world.

I had a personal PayPal account but I got an email asking to verify my business. I do not have a business and I do not use this as income. I have 67 rescued dogs, so everything is for them. I am assuming the donations increased in amount and frequency, so it was needed for tax purposes as I linked my Canadian bank account and it is my only bank account.

The support told me to make a business account to avoid limitations. I did and choose non-profit.

However, now I am being asked to verify my business registration number which I do not have. I can easily prove that the money are indeed for dogs.

I am super anxious now as this jeopardizes 67 lives depending on me. I need this PayPal to receive help for their needs, and I withdraw the money to my bank account then later from the ATM as PayPal is not supported in where I am.

Please, let me know what I can do as I am so clueless and lowkey getting scared. I will try to register my organization within Canada if I have to, and will ask a tax specialist if I have to do anything for the donations I get since it might look like income, but I do not have any business or profit.
