I'm boycotting PayPal. Pitiful "Refund offer" requires me to pay more money for postage

So I got scammed. I figured, nah, Paypal is safe and they'll make sure I'm protected - so I report the scam. Took a while, and I thought, well it's COVID, we all got issues, right?
Three months after I reported the scam, they finally responded that the seller is offering a full refund on the condition that I return the **bleep** little pillow they sent me instead of a giant bean-bag that was advertised. AUD$19 postage for a $USD19.95 **bleep** pillow that I did not ask to be sent to me? Hardly fair, IS IT, PAYPAL?!
If those scammers want their **bleep** little pillow back, ask them for a reply-paid envelope. Until then, I'll never use you again and make sure everyone I know hears of it.

Scam victims. Don't even bother to send anything back to Asia (China, Hong Kong, etc), first based on principle buyer should not have to pay for seller's mistake (and in most scams they are obviously not honest mistakes, like wrong size or color, even in those cases seller should pay for return shipping), second, the scammers would not provide a genuine valid address, even if you send it, it will never get delivered and the case just hangs till it expires.
What you need to do is contact customer service, chat in message center seems to be the only option nowadays. After getting to a human, explain what happen and upload photos of worthless items to convince the rep its a scam (legitimate sellers would not want a 10 cent toy shipped back to them, real sellers want customers keep buying from them, only scammers demand return of worthless items, anybody with an ounce of brain can see that). If first rep won't help ask for another, you probably get a different rep each time you dialogue anyway, keep trying and plead your case.

The thing about returning stuff back to seller, the address they provide may be bogus. Even if tracking says it was delivered, the seller can still say they never got it. PP's policy is so lop-sided towards the seller, scammers can pretty much have their cake and eat it too. I hope at least you got the $30 reimbursement from PP for return shipping cost.

I received nothing from Paypal, even after sending product back. I ordered from China but received item from NSW Australia. As far as I can now understand, between Face Book, E-Bay and now Paypal, they are all connected to these scammers, they make money from allowing scammers to operate. Ive now lost my money to a corrupt Chinese communist PayPal.
