Yesterday, a lot of things went down between me and a scammer. He took my steam account while pretending to be a "valve employee" and threatened to delete the account unless I showed proof that I owned the account. So I proceeded to listen to him and in the end, I gave him over £400 to get my account back and it still didn't work.
In the end I contacted steam support and got my account back by the end of the day, but I'm still down £400. I contacted paypal about this as the only option was "unauthorised payment" and that was declined and closed. I was thinking of phoning up tomorrow but I don't know if I'll get that money back or not. What should I do?

Sounds as if you paid using friends/family? If so then sadly you would have 0 buyer protection.
