I got robbed. Now what?

Someone calling themselves FACEBK-Daily Steals charged $401.24 to my PayPal account. I was not able to file a resolution in the account because the PayPal screen said "We’re sorry, you can’t file a case on this type of transaction". So I called and a case was opened. PayPal closed the case saying "Case Closed: Transaction not covered".

 

There is no ability to respond. So I'm thinking of filing a police report. I don't know what else to do. Any ideas? I deleted my credit card from PayPay and moved all my money out of my checking account, so the payment can't go through (it's still pending).

Check if you had a subscription set up...
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments''.

I checked but they are not listed as active or inactive in pre-approved and automatic payments.

ok, then if it stays at pending on your paypal account it will 'time out' at 30 days, if it completes then come back for more advice.
