Same happened to me, I would have thought, considering it is all over the news and paypal is in most cases the payment method used for it, that they would have a bit more sense and work together with nintendo on getting this resolved

I ran into this last night, I had a panic attack and without reading up on what I should do I changed passwords then immediately disputed it with Paypal as "that's where the money come from so they should be able to help right?" And as I now know from reading this thread all I got was my accounts unlinked and "Thank you for reporting this case. After reviewing your case, we found that the reported transactions were not unauthorised and therefore aren't eligible for PayPal Buyer Protection. " I mean I told you in the message box that they were from the Nintendo hack that is now widely known about and therefore unauthorised 😡
I have since contacted Nintendo, given them all the info they asked for and relinked the accounts so here is hoping that Nintendo can help as Paypal doesn't seem to care.

I'm literally in the same situation. I'm waiting on Nintendo to refund me otherwise I'm not sure what I'm going to do because I'm not in the financial position to lose that amount of money.
I also contacted my bank before PayPal were able to take money out of my account so I'm not sure if I still owe PayPal the money??
Hope you get it sorted!

@Tapiola1983 PayPal won't allow me to post the contact email so you could try Nintendo's website, scroll to the bottom of the page and there should be a link to contact them down there, scroll down to where it says Contact Nintendo Support and on Nintendo.co.uk it asks for the country you live in (I only mention this as it might be different for other Nintendo sites) then it asks for the catagory and after that the topic and if all Nintendo sites are the same in this instance select "Nintendo eShop purchases and refunds" for the catagory and in the topic there is an "Unauthorised credit card/PayPal charge option". Fill out the form on the following page and then it's just a waiting game as with all contact to companies.
