Guy Scammed me off Bump fake item

Hi, two days ago on August 16th I purchased an off white x vlone crewneck off of an app called Bump for 185 USD. This transaction was done with no account but I have all the proof that I bought using the card linked to this account and email. I requested a refund to the seller and the seller says no refund although that was not said in the description. I told the seller to wait and not to ship it. I contacted the support team off bump they said it's the sellers decision. I begged the seller to refund it. He still said no. That was when I did my research on the item and found out what I had bought was a complete fraud. I kept asking the buyer to show proof that is real but either he denied it or ignored it. I contacted the support team off Bump and they did not respond at all. It has been nearly 2 days. And even with me telling the seller not to ship the fraud item he shipped it anyways. I am reporting this item as a fraud and scam. I already did a bunch of reports to Bump but they are not answering and it is really ticking me off. The item that the seller has sold me is fake and fraud. If the listing was on sale it should have said Off white x Vlone (Fake) because that is what the item really is. If you need a copy of the receipt I will glady send you it. Just please resolve this problem and get me my refund.

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description on eBay or on the seller’s website

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. We'll review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2.Near the bottom of the page, under 'More about your account', click Resolve a problem in our Resolution Centre.
3.Click Dispute a Transaction.
4.Select the button beside the transaction you want to dispute, then click Continue.
5.Select ‘Item dispute’, click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/first-dispute

DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNTIL YOU HAVE A CLEARED REFUND OR YOUR ITEM WHATEVER THE SELLER SAYS. ALSO DON'T FORGET TO ESCALATE THE DISPUTE TO A CLAIM WITHIN 20 DAYS IF THE SELLER DOES NOT REFUND.

If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

Hi, Thank you for your response the problem is the transaction does not show because I purchased it without an account. Later I made an account with the same email and card, but the transaction still does not show, so I have nothing to report. Please help ASAP or someone I can quickly speak with.  I just want my money back from the scammer.

If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and did NOT log into your paypal account then of course it won't show on your paypal account as you bought as a 'guest buyer'.
However your seller may have processed that payment using their Paypal 'card reader' and so Paypal would show on your bank or card statement.

If you need to open a dispute for a 'guest buyer' transaction then you can...

1. Phone Paypal customer services and see if they will open one for you OR
2. Contact your card issuer for a chargeback.
