Fake trainers from Depop

I’ve received some fake trainers from a seller on Depop. They want me to send the fakes back but I’m loath to do this as I reckon as soon as I supply tracking they’ll block me. If I’m blocked can I still escalate my PayPal claim ?

Sometimes if you can prove the items are FAKE and you win a Paypal dispute then you don't have to return the fake items.

BUT you need to get proof that they are FAKE first and provide that to customer services.

If you are in the UK you can try trading standards OR a company / shop that sells the genuine item, you would need a letter to say they are fake on a company headed letter.

Then open a dispute citing that the item is FAKE in a message to the seller and then phone customer services to say the dispute is opened and you have proof they are fake and go from there.

Also one other little trick, tell the seller (as long as they are in the UK as well) that if he does not issue you with a full refund you will be informing trading standards that he is selling fake items.........that sometimes works.
