Do you see the transaction in PayPal twice as in a duplicate?

When you buy something with PayPal, it is recorded on your PayPal account activity once and once at what funding source (bank debit card or credit card) you chose to pay with where applicable.

Sometimes with one-time purchases where you are paying with PayPal balance, PayPal asks for a card as back up so both the PayPal balance and card is charged and when the merchant accepts the payment, paypal's system determines if you have enough in your PayPal balance to cover the transaction and if there is enough then they reverse the card charge and take the funds from your PayPal balance.

So how did you pay? Did you pay with PayPal balance backed up by card or bank account (eCheck (just bank account) or instant bank payment which is a bank payment backed by card)?

If you see the same transaction twice in your PayPal account and your funding source, go to your PayPal account activity page, click on the duplicate transaction, then click "Report a problem", then click Billing Issue option, then click Duplicate Transaction, then follow the on-screen instructions.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
