I accepted some money for my friend. I sent that money to my friend. Now the people that I accepted the money from wants the money back. I never said I would give them merchandise. What can I do?

Sounds like you were scammed.
Are both parties really 'friends' or just online contacts?
Also is the 'friend' you sent the funds to real or just an online contact OR could their facebook account or similar have been hacked?
Advice is voluntary.
