Dispute payment

Hi there, I recently put forward a claim to you as I have not received an item from a seller and therefore money was taken from their PayPal I have since received the item after three weeks (I have therefore closed the case) and now the seller is saying that their money has been taken. Will the seller receive their money now or do I have to pay them again? If you could give me advice on this that would be a great help. Many thanks

Was it at the dispute stage or did you escalate to a claim?

If it was a dispute then if you have closed it the funds should be released back to the seller but paypal may hold them for up to 21 days from when you paid under the new seller hold or because a dispute was raised.

As long as you did NOT get a refund then the seller should get their money and if they do not then its up to them to contact customer services.
