I am really disgusted by the way I have been treated by PayPal. First my account was limited so NO explanation whatsoever. Secondly Services have been withdrawn, again with NO explanation given. I have emailed customer services (that’s a laugh in itself!), I phoned & was given another email address, no replies. Whatever you do THEY DO NOT RESPOND in any way. It’s a disgraceful way to act with customers. To add insult to injury I recently received an email to reset my password, when I tried it informed me again they will no longer offer services and yet again NO EXPLANATION!! I am at a total loss of what to do next. Shane in you Paypal, You don’t deserve your customers!

PayPal does review accounts regularly, and any concerns with security, violations of the User Agreement or Acceptable Use Agreement, compliance obligations, etc., could lead to a permanent restriction. Additional information beyond what would have been provided to you in a notification and/or email would not be available due also to security concerns and due to such information being proprietary.

 

Having said that, you certainly have the option to contact PayPal's Customer Service directly so a review can be conducted to see if there's an avenue to restore your account. The Community Forum is intended to be a user-to-user channel, and there's no way for a PayPal Representative to assist you directly here. Even though PayPal Representatives may reply to messages here, they can only give advice and guidance.

 

To contact PayPal directly, please log on to your account, click Contact at the bottom of the page and then click Call Us. That will display the phone number for the center that services your region. Alternately, you may contact PayPal via Facebook (send a Private Message via https://www.facebook.com/paypal) or Twitter (send a Direct Message to @AskPayPal).
