Hi all feeling very frustrated my money was mysteriously held for 180days,this is now up however the number I call is fully automated then at the end it says we cant deal with your problem on the phone and hangs up very annoying no reply to my messages either, does anybody have a number I can call or a way to get through to these people please thanks.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal holds any funds for 180 days as that is the same time frame that buyers have to open paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened against you in 180 days then 'normally' you are allowed to withdraw the funds as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Your best bet is to wait until the phones are back up and running and then phone customer services so that you can speak to an agent.
Then they can help advise on how you can withdraw the funds if and when you are allowed to do so.


Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky.
If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country.
Live chat is randomly available.
You can send them a message.

Just a quick reply to say cheers I was actually a day early on the 180 days but I didnt contact them by message and today was emailed I can withdraw funds I withdrew straight to my bank within seconds so just came back to say thank you
