Can I get buyer protection for a software purchase that doesn't work on my iPad? I was encouraged to upgrade to premium on the provider's web page (which I was using from my iPad), only to find that it gave me a MacOS or Windows exe file, that I can't install on the iPad. That wasn't clear from the purchase site. I have asked them for a refund but wonder if this can be claimed through PayPal if they refuse?

Normally you aren't covered for virtual items for not as described, only non receipt.

But you could try anyway?

If not then maybe a chargeback via your card issuer?

Thanks @kernowlass, luckily the vendor was kind enough to refund my purchase. Happy days.
