My accounts recently got hacked. Someone tried to purchase a Macbook in MA and im in Texas. The funds came out of my bank account via paypal. I contacted Best Buy and they say they have refunded the money to paypal because i was able to cancel the order but the refund does not show in my paypal account. Paypal Syays nothing from Best BUY and Best Buy can give me a transaction ID that shoows money sent back to paypal account. Any suggestions?
If the original Paypal payment was funded from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card. Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.
