Airline Refund

hi,

 

i purchased an airline ticket last April.

Flight (Shanghai-Taipei-Philippines)

The travel agency(sky-tours) are selling flights that says 15-20hours layover in Taipei(still selling).

 

Taipei only allows 8hours transit, more than that they will require you to have 14 days quarantine in Taipei.(Taipei airport website is not updated about the transit rules;which I checked before my flight).

 

In short, I went to the airport and was told I can board the first flight but I need to have 14 days quarantine in Taipei after 14 days I need to buy another flight going to my final destination.

 

Presently, Sky-tours(travel agency) is still selling tickets with more than 8 hours layover in Taipei.

I reported the problem to get also a refund.

- I didnt received any reply from the seller.

-I received an email from paypal team that they will send me a message if they need more information, which never happened.

-and I just received a message that they are declining my refund because they say I received the ticket.

 

In my report, I never say I didnt received the item(ticket). I say the description of the item is not what described coz they are selling routes that are not possible.

Im not sure, if I have a chance for the claim.

How can I communicate with paypal thru emails, paypal didnt give me any chance to show proof of my claim.

Sadly you bought a ticket and received a ticket, paypal does not get involved in 'quality' of items.

However that does not stop you taking your own legal action against any companies you feel have not provided you with the service advertised.
