A refund is now cancelled?

I recently paid an invoice from an illustration artist, they took too long without updates. The artist agreed to refund me the full amount $160, I saw the refund alert on 7/19/2021, it has been pending for many days and now it's at a "CANCELLED" state. Does this mean I did not get my refund? I can't even dispute the claim because it was already solved with the refund.

Sounds as if the echeque the seller used to refund you failed due to insufficient funds in their bank account.

Contact customer services to let them know if you won the dispute but the refund failed.

 

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
